Description
Years ago Jay watched as Bob set a new land speed record (in the category of persons dressed in hunting clothing) as he scorched prairie grass in a tight circle around a small grove of oak trees. Bob was desperate to stay ahead of a giant, angry bison bull which had a freshly-launched arrow in its side. Bob was yelling words that he couldn’t otherwise pronounce. Bob’s momentum was so high that he make two more full circuits around that grove, even after the huge bull lay dead. That’s when Jay knew for sure that hunting with Bob could be really entertaining.
Since then, Bob and Jay have been hunting and fishing together. And, as Jay predicted, something hilarious always happens. Bob and Jay swear all these stories are true. “You couldn’t make this stuff up”, comments Bob. “I really wish there was more fiction in these stories,” adds Jay, “I’d need a lot fewer bandages.”
Join Bob and Jay in their hunting and fishing adventures. As you turn each page, their mishaps and pratfalls will keep you laughing. Hunting and fishing is fun. Reading about Bob and Jay as they hunt and fish keeps that fun going stronger.
Read these stories to your huntin’ buddies in camp. They are therapeutic, because they help folks forget their own failures, and laugh at the failures of others. After all, entertaining hunting stories are as much a part of hunting camp as bad cooking and cold showers!
This is book one. But look for more books in the series, “Humor, with a Little Huntin’ Thrown In.”
